Bipolar disorder is a mental illness marked by uttermost shifts in mood. Symptoms can incorporate an extremely elevated mood called mania. They can also include episodes of depression. Bipolar disorder is also called as bipolar disease or manic depression. Bipolar disorder is treated with medications, such as mood stabilizers and antipsychotics, as well as with psychotherapy.
